How to set up e-shots

Why should I send e-shots?

Portal e-shots are a great marketing tool, giving you the ability to send targeted email messages straight to your customers phones.

You can send offers that run from and to a specified date and based on predefined parameters including gender, age and whether the customer has visited before. e-shots are sent to recipients in email form, which can be fully customised by you.

How can I set up and send my own e-shots?

Setting up your own e-shots in the Purple Portal is easy - you’ll find simple instructions for customisation on the management screen.

You can select from three different types of e-shot - visit based, birthday or top customers. Scheduling and personalisation is determined from the type of e-shot you select. You can choose from a range of pre-defined colour themes and templates, or create your own. Historic user matching tells you how many people the e-shot will reach according to the parameters you specify.

Once you have completed your template you’ll have three options - publish, return to library or delete. You can also choose to duplicate the template content for future use.
